A 50% non-refundable, non-transferable deposit is required for all orders at time of booking. Without a deposit we will not hold your date. The remaining balance is due 2 weeks prior to your event. For wedding cakes, the last payment is due 1 month prior. Luna Sweets reserves the right to cancel any order that has not been paid in full by the due date. Any deposit/partial payments received prior to 14 days of the event will be forfeited by the customer with no refunds or store credit. 

Custom Orders

Cancellations are only accepted up to two weeks prior to the date of your event in writing. Any additional money from the 50% non-refundable deposit you may have contributed towards the balance will be refunded only if the cancellation occurs before/on the due date. if an order is cancelled with less than 2 weeks until your event no monies will be refunded, this means funds are non-transferable for a future date.

Weddings

Cancellations are only accepted 4 weeks prior to the date of your event in writing. Any additional money from the 50% non-refundable deposit you may have contributed towards the balance will be refunded only if the cancellation occurs before/on due date. If your order is cancelled with less than 4 weeks until your event no monies will be refunded, meaning funds are non-trasferable for a future date.

Note: All cancellation requests must be made in writing. 50% deposit is NON-REFUNDABLE and NON-TRANSFERABLE, meaning you can not cancel one date and then change it for another. If a cancellation is received less than 2 weeks prior to the promised pickup date (or 4 weeks for wedding cakes), no monies will be refunded.​

Any changes to your order may be made anytime before your last payment due date, this includes final guest count. After such date any minor changes for orders may be accepted at Luna Sweets discretion depending on how far along your order may be, if the order is more than 50% completed we may not be able to comply. If changes requested are significant/major to the design and incur additional materials, charges may apply. Any change requests with less than 48 hours will not be accommodated.

All sales are final. Due to the nature of our products we do not accept returns. Please refer to Cancellations for more info on the matter. 

Minimum celebration cakes order of $250.00. For wedding cakes minimum order of $500.00. Any custom cake price quote is good for up to 1 week. After that we cannot guarantee that your price and date will be available.

Our products may contain or come into contact with milk, peanuts, wheat, tree nuts, soy, and other allergens. You agree to notify your guests of this risk and hold us harmless for allergic reactions.

Some of Luna Sweets' clients supply us with photos and internet pictures, we use them for inspirational purposes only. We do not copy cakes as we prefer to create our own original cake designs. This applies even to our own designs, if a client chooses one of our own it will be slightly adjusted from the original to provide a one-of-a-kind, bespoke cake to each client. Once a deposit is made, a full sketch in color of your custom cake will be emailed to you for confirmation. Some designs may include non-edible items such as ribbons, jewelry, real flowers, props and other adornments used for decorating.

Cake and treats, are food and require an optimal room temperature of 75 degrees or below. if your event is held outdoors we're not responsible of what happens (ex. temperature, inclement weather, bugs, color fading, etc.) High temperatures can adversely affect your cake/treats, it is the client's responsibility to arrange an appropriate spot to display your cake/treats, out of direct sunlight, and away from unnecessary heat.

Luna Sweets reserves the right to minor changes whether cosmetic or structural for the integrity of the cake. It's our discretion and responsibility to provide a sound structure for the cake and aestheticly pleasing order. 

Delivery is available for cakes for an additional charge from your order balance. Prior to delivery a set time and designee will be assigned. Clients are responsible for providing a secure table and appropriate environment for the cake. We are not responsible for any damage to the cake after delivery has been completed. If we have to wait for any reason after the agreed delivery time (such as locked building, table unavailable, designee not on time, etc.) we will only do so for 15 minutes. If we must leave without drop off, your cake will need to be picked up at no fault to Luna Sweets, and without refund.

On occasion we will photograph our cakes and we reserve the right to use any photographs for display or promotion without compensation to you. Any additional pictures you may provide Luna Sweets that includes yourself or any other persons, we will seek consent before we utilize such picture for promotional purposes and accredit the rightful party.
